Nvidia's ION chipset has been quite successful, and you can easily tell that MCP79 got to the next level.

Apple was the first to embrace this chipset as Geforce 9400 and ION was a brand reserved for Atom CPU and MCP79 but as or recently even Core 2 duo and MCP79 can be called ION.

We´ve confirmed that many ION-based netbooks are about to get launched, and that Nvidia's partners including some big names have yet to announce their machines.

Asrock remains the sole vendor with a dual-core Atom 330-based netbook, while the rest will use single core Atoms, most likely the N270.
