The guys from Patriot have informed us that their Patriot Box Office media player has received a new firmware update.

The only thing that didn't work on previous firmware was Blu-ray/HDDVD ISO files, which weren't supported, but it appears that Patriot is listening to community and has issued a new firmware that will bring support for these files as well. The new firmware also brings support for HDMI dual/multi channel audio out and added additional language support.

If you are not familiar with Patriot's Box Office, it is a HD media player with HDMI output that can play almost every file that you throw at it. It can house a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD and it can be found as a bundle with Patriot's USB WiFi dongle.
