Despite whether or not you care for him

It is true that the relationship that Tim Tebow seems to have with sports fans runs hot and cold. While we at Fudzilla don’t claim to be sports experts, we know that a lot of people seem not to care for Tebow. It could be that Electronic Arts and their EA Sports brand are banking on this controversy as part of the reason they are going with Tebow as their choice for cover athlete on the upcoming release of NCAA College Football 2011, due out later this year.

From what sources have been able to confirm, Tebow was in Orlando last week to do some promotional work for EA Sports. While Tebow has yet to be drafted by a pro team, he will be taking part in the upcoming NFL Draft, which seems to only confirm that the cover of NCAA College Football 2011 has been given to Tebow.

Normally, EA Sports makes the official announcement of the cover of the upcoming NCAA College Football game right around NFL Draft time. While EA has confirmed that Tebow has been a candidate for the cover of NCAA College Football, the company would not confirm that it has Tebow under contract; nor was it prepared to make an official announcement. Our sources confirm that the cover goes to Tebow, but we will see how this plays out. It is no surprise that other outlets are confirming that it is a done deal, as well.
