The 750W and 850W models

Corsair has officially announced its newest PSU addition to the HX series, the 750W and 850W models. Both of these have a modular design, efficiency of up to 90 percent and single +12V rail.

Both new models have flat modular cables, active PFC, support for ATX12V 2.3 and EPS12V 2.91 standards, 140mm bottom placed fan and a single +12V rail design. The more powerful 850W model has 70Amps on its +12V rail while the 750W one will have to make due with 60Amps.

The other difference between these two models is the number of PCI-E 6+2 and 4-pin peripheral connectors. The 750W model has "only" four PCI-Express 6+2-pin connectors while the 850W has two more. The 850W model also has four more 4-pin peripheral connectors as well so the 750W users will have to settle for eight.

Both of them are already listed in Europe with the lowest price set at €117,75 for the 750W model and €123,80 for the 850W model. You can find the entire HX series listed here.
