CEBIT 2007:  2 kiloWatts of power

The new monster that can literally power three high end PC-s has emerged on Topower's stand. It is an external unit, and as far as we know – there is no consumer PC case in which you could put it in.

We will find out more about the PSU during the day, but for the time being, we know it has a DC output of 2000W, and it's compatible with all PC power standards.

As you can see in the picture, the cables don't have any special locking mechanism, so if you are careless while moving your PC case you could easily detach the cables from the PSU. We hope that Topower will fix this in the final version of the PSU.

If you don't mind wires hanging around going inside and outside your PC case, and of course if you have 20 hard drives, and 4 SLI cards, maybe you should consider this PSU.

Price and production info is yet to be announced.
