Currently selling for as low as US $49.99

EVGA has launched yet another power supply unit in its budget-oriented lineup, the EVGA 700B PSU which provides 700W of continuous power and has an 80 Plus Bronze efficiency rating.

Featuring a pretty much the same design and feature list as the previously released EVGA 600B entry-level PSU, the new EVGA 700B PSU also keeps things simple and does not include a modular design and has an 80 Plus Bronze efficiency rating, providing 81 percent efficiency at 100 percent load at 220V (82 percent at 115V). It also uses a single bottom placed 120mm sleeve bearing fan for cooling and pumps out 56 Amps on its single +12V rail.

According to EVGA, the 700B PSU should be enough to power a single high-end or two mid-range graphics cards, since it includes two 6+2-pin PCI-Express power connectors. The rest of the connections include a single 24-pin ATX and 4+4-pin EPS power connectors as well as nine SATA, three Molex and single Floppy power connector. It also includes all the usual protections including OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), and SCP (Short Circuit Protection) and it is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Although specifications and the feature list is far from impressive, the US $64.99 price certainly is. To make things even better, the EVGA 700B PSU is currently on sale at EVGA's shop with $15 mail-in rebate, pulling the price down to US $49.99.
