Small, powerful and custom painted

After its announcement of small netbooks which should be starting to appear soon, SmoothCreations has announced yet another system, the Lan Shark 16-inch desktop.

As with every other Smoothcreation system, this one will also feature a custom-painted case, and a variety of choices with names like Intel, GSkill, Powercolor, DFI and others. This small form factor system will be packed in a 16-inch acrylic chassis that has a single 5.25-inch slot on the front.

The new Lan Shark SFF system will be available in three different configurations, Extreme, Pro and Affordable. We must note that all of these will be customizable and that the base offer will start at US$1,300. We don't know the exact specifications of these models as they are still not available, but Smoothcreations has noted that the Extreme model will use Intel's Quad Core processor and two Powercolor 4870X2 H2O Special Edition graphics cards for some Crossfire action.

These new Lan Shark's should be available soon at Smoothcreations' web site, NCIX, Microcenter and Walmart.
