After many months of coocking behind closed doors, Logitech is now ready to unveil a new brand simply called Logi. 

This is not even a new brand, as this is just shorter version of Logitech, they just got rid of the tech bit. The company calls Logi their new label and you will see a lot of it.

Logitech has recognized a need to call one of its employees a chief design officer and the chap called Alastair Curtis is the company's first ever chief design officer. To put things in perspective, this is now the Jony Ive of Logi(tech).

Logi will bring some new, refreshed and exciting products, along with some surprises. From the short video that the company shared with us, you can tell that they will dare to use some bright and hipster / millennial oriented colors.

The Logi brand will come to the official company website, social media channels, packaging and obviously retail shelves. It is not clear whether this change influences the gaming part of the company, better known as Logitech G, but we will probably know soon enough.

It is obvious that Logi wants to compete with Beats and many similar companies who started to sell headsets, speakers and many other accessories. The company wants to get closer to the new generation of consumers and the brand can always get some refreshment.

The company has shared a brief video that kind of tries to tell the story, but interestingly enough they don’t even use the new brand in the video, it is probably too early for that.
