HP claims
to have broken a milestone in mobile computing with its HP EliteBook 6930p. The company claims this is the first laptop with a 24-hour battery life, albeit when equipped with an optional high-capacity battery pack.

The EliteBook 6930p is not a toy nor a netbook, it's a chunky 2.1kg, 14.1-inch machine packed with some serious hardware.

As you can imagine, we're a bit skeptical about the 24-hour claim. Maybe it can really run for 24 hours, if you decide not to do anything with it, i.e. browse the net, watch videos, or do some serious work.

Raising productivity by allowing people to work during long flights or commutes is always a good idea. Too bad people can't work for 24 hours straight. (You can and you will, all day long baby, as soon as I find my whip... sub.ed.)
