Ryzen 3 or what AMD might end up calling the Ryzen 4000 desktop series was supposed to launch at Computex 2020. Since Computex is postponed from late May to late September, it is unlikely that AMD will wait until then to reveal a new CPU.

Acer has a nice Swift 3 laptop but Intel wins the numbers battle

It appears that Acer is working on a rather neat new 14-inch Swift 3 laptop which could come with an 8-core Ryzen 4000 series CPU that could pack quite a punch, but Intel has a lot to offer in that price range and there are 30 Intel 10th gen laptops on every AMD Ryzen 4000-based one.

First laptops in Q1 2020 and 100+ systems in 2020

A big part of AMD's CES 2020 keynote was about its new 3rd gen Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors based on Zen 2 CPU architecture and 7nm manufacturing process. The Ryzen 4000 mobile processors will be coming in U-, H-, and Pro-series versions, targeting different market segments, and AMD promises big things in the laptop market segment in 2020 as it puts a lot of pressure on Intel.
