It looks like that Huawei Mate 9 was a hot sell in the last few months. It turns out that the company managed to sell 5 million of these phones since the launch in early November. 

Great phone but the Americans might not like it

Huawei wants to launch its latest smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9, in the US, but according to the Wall Street Journal it could find difficulties in getting consumers to adopt the brand.

Moving slowly toward the big table

Huawei managed to sell nine million of its P9 flagship phones. Since the company is currently the number three player in the total mobile market, this is not a bad result, but it definitely shows some space for improvement. 

Better screen, more RAM and hefty price tag

In addition to the new Mate 9 phablet, Huawei has also shown off a special version known as the Mate 9 Porsche Design, featuring a smaller but better screen, the same SoC but with more RAM and storage space as well as a hefty price tag.

Powering Huawei's newest 5.9-inch phone

Huawei’s new Mate 9 is a 5.9-inch phablet that comes with with a Full HD screen and Kirin 960 SoC, featuring 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, micro SD card and the Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.

Huawei has announced its newest flagship Mate 9 5.9-inch phablet which will be powered by Huawei's newest Kirin 960 SoC.
