Coming at Computex

Asus has teased a rather interesting product that will be officially unveiled at the Computex show later this year, a gaming-oriented power station, called the ROG Mjolnir.

Asus, which has taken over the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) from Intel, has now officially announced the new Asus NUC 14 Pro.

With 27-inch VA panel, 1440p resolution, and 180Hz refresh rate

Asus has unveiled yet another ROG Strix series gaming monitor, the 27-inch ROG Strix XG27WCS, featuring a curved VA panel with 1440p resolution and 180Hz refresh rate.

Part of the Dual OC and TUF Gaming lineup

Asus has introduced its own custom versions of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card. The Radeon RX 7900 GRE was limited to China, but AMD has officially announced it for a global release in order to counter Nvidia's $550 RTX 4070 non-Super graphics card. Asus custom RX 7900 GRE graphics cards will come as a part of the Dual OC and TUF Gaming lineups.

No word on compact Zenfone 11

Asus has confirmed the official announcement date for its upcoming Zenfone 11 Ultra smartphone, which will take place on March 14, simultaneously in Taipei, New York, and Berlin, suggesting a global launch of the phone. Unfortunately, there is still no word on a more compact Zenfone 11 version.

Asus still sticks with two

MSI has introduced its three-year OLED burn-in warranty, which will include several of its OLED monitors in the MAG, MPG, and MEG series. On the other hand, Asus is still sticking with a two-year warranty.

Giving it access to important market segment

ASUS and its ASUS IoT team have announced a new strategic partnership with Quividi, which will allow the integration of Quividi's advanced audience measurement solutions into the range of ASUS NUCs and ASUS IoT Tinker Board-based digital signage solutions.

ASUS has rather silently launched yet another custom Geforce RTX 4060 graphics card, this time in the low-profile form factor, making it interesting for those SFF builds.

Would be competing with Asus ROG Strix

Asus' spokesperson has confirmed that the company won't have an update to the NUC Extreme 7.5 liter device. The Raptor Canyon remains the last NUC of its kind, as Asus has ROG Strix systems in the same ballpark.

At the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, ASUS unveiled its new NUC lineup, which includes both the new NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ as well as the ROG NUC.
