Nvidia finally made it to 55nm, and this happened only seven or eight months after ATI did it. The new G92 is now significantly faster as Nvidia can clock it faster then the original one.
The card works at over 730MHz and this should be enough to challenge HD 4850 performance and probably outrun even the HD 4870 cards.
The Geforce 9800 GTX+ itself will come with two six-pin power connectors and the total available power for the card will get to 225W.
After this card comes in game, Geforce 9800GTX will severely drop in price and Nvidia will try to swap it with 9800GTX+ cards as soon as possible, and all people who got 9800GTX in last few weeks won’t have happy faces. Well, that’s life.
