Extreme 1200W power supplies

Silverstone has launched some stylish all-black Power supply units (PSUs). There is the OP1200 which is for standard users, if having four CPU's on your motherboard is standard. It peaks at 1200W, with all the bells and whistles you can expect from a PSU in this range.

There are also some neat innovations, such as the dedicated single 12V(90Amp) rail, Dual EPS 8 pin connectors & quad PCI-E 6 pin connectors. Included in the features is a silent 135mm fan with support for ATX 12V 2.2 & EPS 12V, Active PCF and an 80% efficiency rating.

The big brother of this PSU is the Decathlon DA1200 which has modular cabling neatly contained in a bag, and supports up to six SATA connectors.

These extremely sexy looking PSU’s will power your computer, and probably could start your car too, not that we suggest you do it. For the user who likes to have more Wattage than a nuclear power plant, Silverstone delivers you two options that can lighten your pockets but increase your “wow” factor in your neighborhood, as everyone comes to check out that cool rig.
