Sony's new Vaio G should be available in October in Japan, with Core 2 Duo CPU, Solid State Drive and a drip-proof keyboard.

The most interesting thing is the drip-proof keyboard which shuts down the system and diverts the water away. You can choose from U7600 and U7500 Core 2 CPU and between 32, 48 and 64GB SSD. You can also go for the plain HDD in different sizes.

It can run Windows Vista and XP and comes with two USB ports, memory card reader, 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and fingerprint reader. The dimensions are (W)277 x (D)215 x (H)23.5/25.5 mm and it should weigh around 1,143g. Sony claims that it has a maximum battery time of 11.5 hours.

The new Vaio G will be available in three colors: black, silver and premium brown. You can check out more pictures at Gizmodo.com.
