Freescale interested

AMD´s
spun off of part, that most of you know as The Foundry Company, is getting a lot of attention of the chip companies. We learned that Freecale and many other mainly US based semiconductor design companies, are showing a lot of interest in the foundry companies manufacturing capabilities.

Most of the chip manufacturers have at least talked to The Foundry Company and they want to take advantage of its bulk process at some point.

Freescale's top man, Executive VP Henry Richard, himself an ex-AMD man, has probably talked with his previous colleagues at The Foundry Company. Henry, who worked as Executive VP of marketing at AMD, knows what AMD manufacturing is capable off, and he probably wants to start making Freescale's own chips there sooner rather than later.
