Non-reference cooling and clocks

Powercolor is the first partner to introduce a non reference cooled and overclocked Radeon HD 3870. This card uses a "professional cooling system," or PCS, courtesy of ZEROtherm.

The card is factory overclocked to 800MHz for the core, which is 25MHz over the reference clock, and 1200MHz for the memory, 74MHz over the reference clock. As with the reference card this one also uses GDDR4 memory with a 256bit memory controller.

Like all Radeon HD 3800 series cards, this one supports DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1, and comes with support for PCI-Express 2.0.
