Rockstar has announced that it will be bringing Grand Theft Auto III to both the Apple iOS and Android platforms. The decision to release GTA III for these platforms comes in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the game.

The release of the game will come this fall and will be the first effort from Rockstar on these mobile platforms, but if successful we doubt if it will be the last. The GTA III demo will be playable this weekend at the New York ComicCon event. No pricing was announced.
