Halo Reach update incoming

by on01 September 2011

Some new stuff as well as community feedback

Halo Reach will be getting an update in the very near future. The update is said to add some new stuff, as well as address feedback from the Halo community to improve the game. 343 is working on this update which is currently projected for release at some point in October.

The biggest update will finally give Xbox 360 4GB users with no hard drive the ability to play the Campaign and Firefight matchmaking, which has previously always required a hard drive. This actually is a bit unexpected, as it was rumored as a possibility that might happen; we actually didn’t really expect it to be high on the list of things that 343 wanted to get done.

A number of multiplayer fixes will, of course, be on tap for this release, as well as a number of other improvements which will likely get Halo fans interested enough to perhaps pick up and start playing Halo Reach again.
