Remedy is said to be working on a new project, but we know that at least right now they are apparently not working on Alan Wake 2.

Despite the fact that actual work on Alan Wake 2 has not begun, apparently planning is ongoing on the title; and we hear that the developers have lots of cool things they want to add into the sequel if and when it gets out of the starting gate.

The best news for a possible Alan Wake 2 sequel is that so far no one has heard that Microsoft has not green lighted the sequel. “If it were going to be officially scrapped, we would know by now,” one source told us. In the meantime, we will just have to wait and see; but don’t expect an announcement at E3 in June about Alan Wake 2.
