No one really knows what Microsoft developer Rare has been up to these days beyond the fact that they have a team working on the avatar marketplace and avatar content. The developer has not had an official release since Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and the revamped Perfect Dark for XBLA.

The Rare website is showing a countdown clock that is counting down till the first day of E3 when we expect that an announcement will be made. Sources tell us that the developer has been working on something Natal-related, but no one outside Rare really has any idea what it is. It has been suggested to us that it is something new and unique that Rare is looking to build a new franchise around, but that is just idle talk at this point. We will have to wait and see.
