Japanese potential Xbox 360 buyers will get a new Elite bundle starting on April 28th. The new bundle will include Bayonetta and Forza Motorsport 3 as part of the bundle.

Forza Motorsport 3 has been part of the recent Xbox 360 Elite bundle here in North America, which also includes Halo 3: ODST. The decision to go with Bayonetta in Japan reflects Microsoft’s attempt to better adapt the bundle to the market in that country. From what our sources tell us, Microsoft believes that Sega’s Bayonetta will be more attractive to buyers in the Japanese market than Halo 3: ODST would have been.

The bundle will include the standard Elite bundle including the 120GB hard drive, so nothing other than the bundled games and the packaging changes this time around. It is unknown if Microsoft intends to use this bundle in any other region, but we suspect that it is doubtful and this Elite bundle will be exclusive to Japan only.
