Lazy and evil, unlike us greedy lot

Apple messiah
Steve Jobs had some rather unpleasant things to say about Adobe and Google during a meeting of cult followers at One Infinite Loop.

Jobs bashed Google for daring to enter the phone market, saying that it would never catch up with Apple's app store. Apparently, Jobs said: "We didn't enter the search business, they entered the phone business. Make no mistake, they want to kill the iPhone. We won't let them." Jobs also commented Google's "don't be evil" mantra, saying it was "a load of crap." The crap statement was welcomed by the crowd of delirious Apple cult followers.

It seems Jobs is a bit cross with graphics outfit Adobe as well. "They are lazy. They have all this potential to do interesting things but they just refuse to do it. They don’t do anything with the approaches that Apple is taking, like Carbon. Apple does not support Flash because it is so buggy. Whenever a Mac crashes more often than not it’s because of Flash. No one will be using Flash," said Jobs.

The way we see it, telling a group of his followers that Adobe is to blame for each time their beloved Macs sounds a bit like a fatwa or a Papal bull calling on them to stop their heretic ways and stick to Snow Leper or forever face damnation in a world of Windows and open source.
