Will release Monster Hunter 360 bundle
So, we have heard all of the talk that retailers are pulling away from Xbox, but Microsoft has already said that they are not giving up on Japan. As proof of that fact Microsoft is releasing a new Monster Hunter Xbox 360 bundle for the Japanese market.

From what we understand, the bundle will include a 350GB Xbox 360 as well as a download code for Monster Hunter Frontier Online and a free weapon and extra armor. We suspect it will also include one wireless controller as well as a single wired headset.

What is actually weird about this bundle is that the code only allows you to play till your rank up to level 2; and at that time it will cost the same as the whole thing, which the consumer still has to purchase.

We will have to see how well this strategy works for Microsoft, but people are Monster Hunter crazy and will buy just about everything Monster Hunter. It will be interesting to see if this translates into sales for Microsoft. At this point we have to think it is worth a try.
