According to latest wireless carrier profiles

A recent discovery from the folks at YourDailyMac has revealed possible hints as to when Apple may release the iOS 5.1 firmware update for its slew of massively popular mobile smartphones and tablets.

On February 8th, Apple published eleven new wireless carrier profiles for various iPhone operators around the world. Some of the code discovered in the profiles lists March 9, 2012 as the day that these mobile profiles will become activated for use with iOS 5.1, suggesting that the firmware update could release around that date.

The profiles will be available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 3G / 4G, iPad 1 and iPad 2. Of course, it is imperative that jailbreakers and other iPhone / iPod / iPad functionality enthusiasts start saving their SHSH blobs prior to updating their devices to iOS 5.1 in order to ensure full jailbreak compatibility with the impending release.
