€629 in Germany, £499 in the UK
As you already know, Apple has only announced the US pricing of its latest iPhone 4S, but now we have European prices as well and things are looking pretty bad, at least if you are looking to score a SIM-Free unlocked iPhone 4S.

According to the regional Apple stores, the iPhone 4S will start at €629 in Germany while those in the Queen's country will have to spend £499. Of course, we are talking about the 16GB version, while 32GB and 64GB versions are yet to be listed. Apple's regional stores will have them for online pre-order as of October 7th while it should hit retail stores on October 14th.

On a similar note, the SIM-free iPhone 4 8GB is currenly listed at €519 and £429, which is hardly a bargain. The unlocked iPhone 3GS is available at €369 and £319, and yes, we are talking about the same two-year old iPhone.

You can check your regional Apple stores for more info, or if you own iPhone 4 you can just try to score one of these upgrade stickers pictured below.
