Intel's are significantly higher

The eternal, decades long struggle between Intel and AMD is definitely starting to go Intel's way. Not only does Intel have close to 80 percent of the market, Intel also has a higher average selling price (ASP).

ASP is the most important number in this business model as it reveals the average price when you compare the total sales of all CPUs from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

As long as ASP is at some projected positive value or higher, the company has a big change to make much money. Intel’s ASP is well over $100 per CPU which is a nice money while AMD’s ASP is lower, definitely under $100.

AMD’s goal is to get ASP up and earn more money, which is something that every company in the world wants.
