It's beautiful

As you can imagine Nehalem wafers are being produced for quite some time now. We had a chance to see one, to hold one in our hand and to see the actual CPU, again.

We took a picture of an actual Nehalem generation Bloomfield CPU back in late August and we’ve seen one in Taiwan, in June at Computex.

Core i7 generation will go on sale in November and Intel is doing the last preparations for a massive launch in November. Core i7 only works in X58 motherboards and it will support both SLI and Crossfire in most of its iterations.

We know it overclocks well even on air, especially Core i7 965 the 3.2GHz clocked version, but officially it only works with DDR3 1066 and not even DDR3 1333 is supported, but if will work. Here is how the wafer looks.
