iPhone 15 has yet another flaw

More crackling than Italian porchetta

After Apple fixed the problem with its overpriced iPhone 15s overheating, users are complaining about another problem.

According to Reddit users, the iPhone 15 has problems with its speakers, which crackle when turned up beyond a whisper.

It is not just the phone speaker, the problem also applies to the earpiece speaker so it must be a fault deep inside the iPhone's gubbins.

“My iPhone 15 Pro Max arrived launch day, and from out of the box, full volume speaker calls rattle the speaker and sound like liquid inside, and same for music above 80 per cent,” a user wrote on Reddit.

“Based on my experience, the audio appears to rattle or crackle in specific videos or certain frequency ranges.

According to 9to5Mac,a TikToker Milesabovetech was among those affected by this iPhone issue. Apple replaced his iPhone twice without extra cost and acknowledged the issue. As per the report, many other users have also reported the issue and asked for a replacement, but the problem continued to exist on new units.

Apple has not released any official statement on this issue, and it is not clear why this problem exists with the new iPhone. It is also unclear if it’s a hardware problem or a software glitch.

It must be difficult for Apple these days. There once was a time when users were happy to pay over the odds for shonky phones and attach rubber bands to them when they didn’t work. Kids of today seem to want some value for money.
