Good scores

The LG G5 is shipping with a Snapdragon 820 CPU and an "always on" feature that will give you a glimpse into the most important information. Now its benchmark scores have been leaked and it is looking rather good.

The latest leak reveals that the LG G5 includes a 4GB RAM and the latest Android 6.0.1.  But in the leak are the scores are using the GeekBench 3.3.2.

The Snapdragon msm8996 better known as the Snapdragon 820 scores 2248 in the single-core test and 5061 in multi-core benchmarks. This is one of the highest single-core scores we've seen. It does not really surprises us. Qualcomm decided to use four big cores instead of eight smaller ones whic hare proving popular with other manufacturers including MediaTek, Huawei and Samsung.

MediaTek's Helio X20 should score around 7000 in the multi core while the Huawei's Kirin 950 scores close to 6000. Both of these scores looks good but Snapdragon 820 / LG G5 dominates in the intensive GPU testing.

LG G5 touch cover recognises  touch gestures and lets you answer your phone without opening the cover. This was something we've saw HTC doing a few years back with its dot cover.
