Analyst claims that Apple fanboys like pink

by on25 September 2015

We were wrong

When Apple released a pink iPhone6, how we laughed – but it turns out that Apple fanboys can't get enough of pink.

Of course Apple does not call it pink, it prefers to call "rose gold" which we have to admit sounds a lot better than Pink. The title has led many confused fanboys to expect a nice copper finish, based on the snaps – but what they will get is pink.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he has estimated that the pink option is the most popular amongst the iPhones, and that it accounted for as much as 40 per cent of pre-orders. Since there are four different colours for users to choose from this makes pink the favourite.

We are not sure where Kuo got his figures from, but we can sort of see the logic.  Pink has had a bad rap from those who always associate it with girls or generally being effiminet. But since the Harry Potter movies we have come to discover that pink is the embodiment of pure evil which is design to enslave the human race under the power of Lord Voldermort.

Kuo goes on to state that apart from Apple, Foxconn will be the main beneficiary of the rose gold finish. This is apparently because they are the only casing supplier capable of volume production of that particular finish. That means that Foxconn will be busy.
