G.Skill unveils its 16GB DDR4-4600 Trident Z memory kit

Running at 4600MHz CL19

G.Skill has unveiled its latest extreme performance Trident Z memory kit which comes in 16GB (2x8GB) capacity and working at 4600MHz and CL19 latency.

Based on screened and high-quality Samsung B-die ICs, the new flagship G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-4600 16GB kit will be available in two color options,  silver with white accent bar and black with black accent bar.

While the 4600MHz frequency was previously only achievable with LN2 overclocking, G.Skill has once again raised the bar by announcing its newest 16GB (2x8GB) dual-channel Trident Z DDR4 kit working at 4600MHz, CL19-23-23-43 latency at 1.5V.

Hitting 4600MHz is quite an achievement, as currently you can only find three DDR4-4400 CL19 kits available and these are all 16GB dual-channel kits, with two coming from G.Skill.

G.Skill also showed a stress test screenshot with the new kit running on ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard and Intel Kaby Lake-X Core i7-7740X CPU.

Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date but judging that 16GB DDR4-4400 kits sell at around €270, you can expect the new one to hit well over €300.
