Water cooled and overclocked

Just after the announcement of BFG's water cooled and factory overclocked 9800GTX, we now have the first pictures of Zotac's water cooled 9800GTX Zone graphics card.

Unlike BFG's card that uses Danger Den's high performance copper block, Zotac has chosen an all-in-one water cooling solution which is similar to the one previously seen on Sapphire's HD 3870 X2 card.

Just as with BFG's card, Zotac's Zone water cooled 9800GTX will come factory overclocked. According to the info at donanimhaber.com, the core of this card works at 700MHz and it will come with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2,250MHz.

The reference 9800GTX works at 675MHz for the core, 2,200MHz for the memory and 1,688MHz for Shaders, so this is a decent overclock. It also has a slightly lower overclock in comparison with BFG's card, but you must bear in mind that BFG is using the high-performance Danger Den water block, which will make the BFG card much more expensive.

The card features 128 stream processors and a 256-bit memory bus. Unfortunately, the Shader clock is still unknown and so is the price availability date. Zotac is keeping its lips tightly sealed when it comes to this card, since it will probably showcase it during Computex next week.

You can find the rest of the specs over at donanimhaber.com.
