Improved Crossfire for Call of Duty: Ghosts and other games

AMD has released a new version of its Catalyst Beta graphics driver, the Catalyst 13.11 Beta9.4. The new driver will improve Crossfire scaling in the recently released Call of Duty: Ghosts game as well as fix some other issues seen in some other games and may fix the recently reported problems with some Radeon R9 290X and R9 290 graphics cards.

According to the release notes, the new Catalyst Beta9.4 driver includes all features seen in previous Catalyst Beta drivers and "may" resolve intermittent black screens or display loss observed on some AMD Radeon R9 290X and AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics cards. It also improves AMD Crossfire scaling in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer as well as include new AMD Enduro technology Profile updates for XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Need for Speed Rivals games.

The new driver is available for Windows 8.1, 8 and the Windows 7 OS and supports all Radeon graphics cards since the HD 5000 series.

As always, the new Catalyst 13.11 Beta9.4 driver can be found on AMD's website.
