Just for preview

Just as promised before, AMD has issued a Catalyst 10.3 preview driver, while the full release should be available sometimes next week. The new driver is available in two versions, one for desktop and one for mobile platforms. It supports ATI Radeon HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 4000 and the all mighty HD 5000 series, as well as its Mobility brethren with mobile version.

The preview driver brings a new Catalyst Control Centre version that has all new Display Bezel Compensation with easy-to-use wizard, Per-Display Colour Adjust, Multiple ATI Eyefinity Groups, Improved Display Configuration switching and easy switching between cloned and extended desktop modes. Support for 3D Stereoscopic glasses is an all new feature.

AMD is still pretty silent with performance improvements, but as you remember, we already had a chance to play around with this driver and we can confirm that it does at least improve Dirt 2 performance by more than 25 percent.

The new preview driver can be found here and it is available for 32 and 64-bit versions of Vista and Windows 7 OS.
