Sapphire rolls our Toxic and Vapor-X HD 5850's

Non-reference and overclocked

Sapphire
has officially announced its Toxic and Vapor-X edition HD 5850 cards that were detailed a week ago. Both cards use the same dual slot cooler and feature Sapphire's non-reference blue PCB and factory overclock.

Both cards have 1440 Stream processors, 72 texture units and a 256-bit memory interface. The backplate on both cards feature two DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. The Toxic HD 5850 works at 765MHz for the core and 4500MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory, while the Vapor-X edition has a slightly lower clocks set at 735MHz for the GPU and 4200MHz for the same 1GB of GDDR5 memory.

The cards feature a dual slot Vapor-X cooler that should provide up lower temperatures of up to 15 degrees Celsius compared to the reference card. The cooler should also be around 10dBA quieter than the reference one.

Sapphire's HD 5850 Toxic is already listed in Europe with a lowest price set at €264.88, while the Vapor-X one can be found with a lowest price se at €251.08. You can find them listed here.
