80mm "Engine Fan" and overvoltage

We managed to score a bunch of non-reference MSI HD 5770 pictures, and most importantly, cooler pictures as this card is all about non-reference cooling. The R5770-PMD1G as MSI calls it, is MSI's non-reference HD 5770 card that will have an overvoltage feature, fan speed settings and a copper base 80mm dual slot cooler.

The cooler looks pretty good and although the card works at reference 850MHz for the GPU and 4800MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory, we are positive that it will have a decent overclocking headroom, especially considering the fact that this one supports overvoltage adjustment to up to 1.3V via MSI's Afterburner overclocking software.

The 8cm Engine Fan cooler has a copper base and features PWM fan control function that has up to eight points based on different temperature values. The backplate features a dual slot design but comes without the second DVI port, so we are looking at an HDMI, Displayport and single DVI, while the second part of the backplate is reserved for the exhaust.

The card is yet to show up in retail and we expect it to sell for around €130 to €140 in Europe.
