Easy to spot

As you
probably know already, vendors aren't supposed to market their new 55nm GTX260 cards in any way which will make it possible to distinguish them from 65nm cards, at least not until Nvidia gets rid of the old ones. So, don't expect AIBs to wave a giant flag with 55nm on it, Nvidia won't stand for it.

However, you can count on price search engines and their industrious and meticulous staff to do it for them. So, the card ends up listed with 55nm in its name, and the GPU is designated as the GT200b.

EVGA is the first AIB to list the new card, designated GeForce GTX 260 Core216 55nm Superclocked, Retail, 896MB (896-P3-1257-ER), and the price currently stands at €283,-. It's clocked at 626MHz GPU, 2106MHz memory, and the shaders run at 1350MHz. The similarly clocked 65nm version costs just a few euro less, but this is probably due to the fact it's carried by more retailers/e-tailers. Both cards should retail at the same price.
