THQ to finally spread the details about it

Quietly over the past couple of years we know that THQ has been working on a Warhammer MMO title. Known as Warhammer 40K, we have received word from our sources that THQ will be telling the world all about it at E3 in June.

From what our sources tell us, THQ is planning a full unveiling, not just the concept art that it showed in 2009. The THQ studio in Austin, Texas has been hard at work getting ready to show this one off. Some analysts are suggesting that if THQ is able to get the Warhammer MMO right, they will be able to rake in loads of cash and it could rival some of the biggest MMO titles that have ever been released to this point.

According to our moles, to be successful they need more than a half million subscribers; anything over that and they will be making serious money. An initial investment that was less than most MMO titles has afforded the studio a lot of flexibility in the revenue model for the Warhammer 40K MMO.
