Drew Brees, to no one’s surprise, will be getting the privilege of staring on the cover of Madden 11, according to our sources, although the official announcement is expected to come later from Electronic Arts.

Sources tell us that the member of the Super Bowl-winning New Orleans Saints has appearances booked and will be taking to everyone that will listen about Madden NFL 11. In conjunction with the Brees announcement, EA will be revealing more details about both NCAA Football 11 and Madden NFL 11 as they ramp it up prior to launch.

EA has promised to deliver more for both NCAA 11 and Madden 11 this year, as the performance of both titles was not what EA was expecting.  Some have suggested that both franchises have gotten a little stale and the studio is putting a renewed effort into getting things back on track this year. This will provide our first glimpse to get an idea of what we might expect.
