At least looking into the possibility

Battlefield Bad Company 2 was just released by DICE for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC; and already Mac users are asking if it is possible that we might see a BFBC2 release for their platform. Of course, this was helped along by the news yesterday that Steam was coming to the Mac, and since DICE already did a port of Battlefield 2142 for the Mac, then why not Battlefield Bad Company 2?

According to reports, DICE is actively looking into the possibility of a Mac release, but right now it is all hands on deck to address issues and deal with some of the problems and bugs that have been found since the release of BFBC2 Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC before they can devote any resources to creating a Mac release.

While DICE isn’t ruling it out, we suspect that it will be at least a couple of months before they can get to it, and we would not be surprised if we saw it happen before the end of the year; but that is a long way off.
