According to the announcement at CES, the Xbox 360 platform will be getting the first Modern Warfare 2 content packs first. What was not explained very well about this exclusive situation for the Xbox 360 platform is whether this is a short-term window ahead of this content being released for other CODMW2 platforms, namely the PlayStation 3 and PC, or whether this is a longer situation where this will be the only way to play this content for a set longer time period, similar to the add-ons released for GTA IV on the Xbox 360 last year.

While the content will arrive in the spring, it seems that Infinity Ward has yet to explain what the specifics are for the deal that they have with Microsoft for this. Our sources tell us that things are pretty hush-hush and only a few people are actually in the know at this point. Still, we expect more details to come out once the dust settles from CES.
