Greece takes out new IMF loan to buy one

Apple has
started shipping its highly successful and rather overhyped iPad tablet in select European markets.

Several weeks ago several cunning retailers managed to acquire some iPads across the pond, but they were offering them at obscenely high prices. The weak euro didn't help either, but luckily the wait is over and Europeans can now get the new toy in the shop around the corner.

Prices range from €499 for the entry level model with 16GB of memory and no 3G connectivity to €799 for the 64GB 3G model. The 3G models are still not available in most markets, but some retailers have managed to source a few.

You can check out the listings here.
