A small group of players are hanging on for grim death in the online version of Halo 2.

Dubbed the Fearless Fourteen they are still managing to play despite Xbox Live support for original Xbox titles being cut 20 days ago. Two of the 14 have now been killed off but the “Tenacious Twelve” are still clinging on.

Microsoft's Major Nelson commented on these die-hards in his most recent podcast. "We're not shutting them off. Were going to let them go," said Nelson.

The 12 are set to fight to the last man, with Microsoft seemingly on their side in the fight. They will die when they have to shut the gear off we guess.
