MSI?s Wind Top AE2420 is great for art
As you can see
I have to admit I haven’t been a fan of AIOs, regardless of configurations, as I personally couldn’t find the reasoning behind the need for such products. I mean, let’s face it – they’re usually too expensive to justify a purchase for a kitchen computer or something similarly silly we’ve heard from various manufacturers who obviously forgot what kitchens are all about. (Chilling beer. sub.ed.)
The device in question was MSI’s Wind Top AE2420 – a 23.6’’ Full HD multi-touch widescreen based on a choice between Core i5 650 (3.2GHz) and i7 860 CPU (2.53GHz). It features ATI’s HD 5730 graphics with 1GB of DDR3 VRAM. It comes with USB 3.0 support and features 4GB of DDR3, 1TB SATA2 hard drive and runs on Windows 7.
Opinions have a funny way of turning around - while waiting for MSI’s representative, I indulged in a simple drawing app on this device. Approximately one hour later – voila; I didn’t even realize time flew away so fast! I’d call this a pretty good result and definitely beats actual finger painting.
