Rumors are wrong

Rumors
that the iPad might be late are total pants according to its main supplier Foxconn.

According to a report on Digitimes, Apple's hardware manufacturing partner Foxconn has confirmed that it is on schedule to ship 600,000 to 700,000 iPads in March and another million of the over priced keyboardless netbooks will be made in April.

This counters claims by Canaccord Adams analyst Peter Misek that "the upcoming iPad launch may be somewhat limited as a manufacturing bottleneck has impacted production of Apple's newest device." If you believe Foxconn, it is unlikely that Apple will delay the launch of the device.

Jobs Mob have said the gizmo will hit shops in “late March," and it is expected that Apple will begin taking pre-orders in the next couple of weeks.
