Nothing wrong with it

Jobs' Mob has released another beta of Mac OS X 10.6.3. According to Apple the beta has nothing wrong with it and implies that Apple users are about to get another formal update.

Mac OS X 10.6.3 build 10D561, arrives only two weeks after the Mac maker equipped developers with build 10D552, which was also perfect in the eyes of Steve Jobs. In fact those looking under the bonnet of the latest beta said that no changes have been made to the software's enhancements checklist, which included an update to QuickTime X that improves security.

Other changes include tweaks to Apple's 64-bit Logic pro audio suite and improved compatibility with third-party printers and OpenGL-grounded applications. Apple is asking developers to look at if the update breaks Bluetooth, iChat, and USB, in addition to two previously listed focus areas: graphics drivers and QuickTime. Apparently it is happy that AirPort is OK and has been omitted from build 10D561.

Mac OS X 10.6.3 is more than 716MB, down slightly from the 737MB package distributed before.
