Fight continues

The "David" who faced Apple's legal "Goliath" and got a good kicking says that it is not shutting its doors yet. Psystar says that despite numerous online reports that the company was shutting down completely and firing all its employees, the company will continue to fight in court.

A spokesman for the outfit denied that the rumours were true and that Psystar does not intend to shut down permanently. The company site was down briefly yesterday but has since been re-opened.

Psystar did the unthinkable and started making Mac clones without the blessing of Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs mob issued a permanent injunction to stop selling hardware running Apple's Mac OS X operating system and they have until December 31st to comply.

At the moment it does not appear to be shipping any products. Psystar only remains a company, to fight the the legality of the $50 Rebel EFI software that allows Intel-based PC users to install and run Mac OS X.
