In yet another show of style over substance, Apple has
decided to add an antiglare upgrade option to its 15-inch MacBook Pro line of
notebooks.
MacBook Pros are at the centre of a dispute between Apple
and its users at the moment. Apple thinks that the MacBook Pro is perfect in
every way, while its users have noticed that a Seagate hard-drive on the beast
tends to make it unusable. Apple has refused to say what is wrong with the MacBook
Pros, despite it fanboys identifying the fault for it.
However it seems that Apple hopes that more people will
buy the broken Pros if they look a bit better. The option of an anti-glare
display has already been available on the 17-inch MacBook Pro. The 13-inch
counterpart continues to offer only a glossy display.
Of course they have to buy a new Macbook and pay an extra
$50 and the faulty harddrive is still not fixed, but it does look nice.
