Affordable backlit keyboard

OCZ has officially launched its latest addition to the Alchemy series, the new Illuminati multimedia keyboard. Shown back at CES 2009, this wired backlit keyboard comes with bunch of multimedia and internet keys and gives a choice of either blue or red backlighting.

This new keyboard weighs 850 grams, uses the USB 2.0 interface, has an integrated palm rest, and comes with rubber coated keys. The keys have a lifespan of 5 million cycles, and the backlight looks nice, at least on pictures.

The new keyboard looks a lot like the Elixir keyboard that we had a chance to review here, and we managed to find out that it should sell for around €30 in Europe which makes it a great catch, especially if it's a decent keyboard like the Elixir.
